Product Introduction
A varistor is an overvoltage protection component with nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, commonly used to absorb transient overvoltages, suppress surges, and protect precision circuits.
Its core material is zinc oxide polycrystalline ceramic, composed of numerous grains and grain boundaries. When the voltage exceeds a threshold value, the resistance drops rapidly, diverting current to protect downstream devices.
